WordPress · WooCommerce plugin

Your related products are picked at random. Literally.

WooCommerce chooses related products by grabbing items that share a tag or category and shuffling them. CartAmplify replaces that with recommendations ranked on what your shoppers actually click and buy — frequently bought together, similar items, personalised picks — across product, cart and category pages.

Nothing is charged for 30 days — cancel before then and you pay nothing.

01The problem

How WooCommerce decides
what to recommend

It shares a tag or a category, and then it's shuffled. That's the whole algorithm.

  • The order is random. Reload the page and you get a different four. Nothing is ranked, because nothing is measured.
  • Relevance stops at the tag. Two products in "Accessories" are treated as equally related, whether they’re bought together or never.
  • Upsells and cross-sells are manual. You set them product by product in the admin. That works for forty products. It doesn't work for four thousand.
  • Nothing learns. A pairing that sells every day and a pairing nobody has ever bought are ranked identically, forever.
  • It only appears in one place. The product page. Your cart, your category pages and your search results recommend nothing at all.

Every product page is a shopper who has already decided to buy something. What you put next to it is the cheapest revenue in the store — and right now it's chosen by a shuffle.

02Already tried a related-products plugin?

Rules are better than
random. Then they stop.

Most free related-products plugins give you control over the rules — pick by category, exclude out-of-stock, change how many show. That's better than random, and if your catalogue is small, hand-set rules are perfectly reasonable. Where they stop:

  • You have to know the answer. Rules encode what you believe sells together. They can't discover a pairing you didn't expect.
  • They don't change. A rule you set in January is still running in November, whether or not it’s working.
  • They don't know who's looking. Every shopper sees the same block on the same product.
  • They stop at the product page. The cart — where basket size is actually decided — is left alone.

CartAmplify learns the pairings from your own order and browsing data, re-ranks as that data changes, and puts recommendations everywhere a shopper might add one more thing.

03What you get

Every kind of recommendation
a store needs.

Frequently bought together

Real co-purchase patterns from your own orders, not guesses from category overlap.

Similar items

For shoppers who like the product but not this exact one — the alternative that keeps them from leaving.

Personalised picks

Ranked on what this shopper has browsed and clicked in this session, not on what the average shopper does.

Cross-sells in the cart

The highest-intent moment in the store. Recommendations appear where the basket is still open.

Replaces WooCommerce's own blocks

Related products, upsells and cross-sells can each be taken over, or left exactly as they are. Your choice, per block.

Place them anywhere

Shortcodes and blocks for Gutenberg, Elementor and WPBakery, so a recommendation row can go anywhere your builder reaches.

04How the ranking works

No black box, nothing
for you to configure.

01

It starts with your catalogue.

Attributes, categories and product content give CartAmplify a working sense of what goes with what from day one, before a single order has come in.

02

It learns from your orders.

Real co-purchase patterns take over as your history builds — including the pairings you'd never have guessed and would never have written a rule for.

03

It reacts during the visit.

What this shopper has viewed and clicked in the last few minutes changes what they see next. Two people on the same product page don't necessarily get the same row.

04

It keeps moving.

Rankings update as behaviour changes, so a pairing that stops working stops being shown. Nothing you set in January is still running untouched in November.

05

Your rules and your stock come last.

Pins, boosts and exclusions are applied on top of everything above, and anything out of stock drops out.

No tags to maintain, no weights to tune.

05Where they appear

Every page where one
more item is possible.

Product pageFrequently bought together and similar items, in place of the default related-products row.

08Analytics

See which recommendations
earn their place.

Every recommendation block reports what it was shown for, what got clicked, and what ended up in an order. You find out which placements pay and which are decoration — and if a block isn't earning anything, you'll know within a week instead of assuming it works because it's there.

09Merchandising

Override it whenever
you want to.

Automatic doesn't mean out of your hands. Pin a product you need to move, boost a margin-heavy line, bury the thing you're discontinuing, or exclude a category from recommendations entirely. The rules you set are respected; everything you don't specify sorts itself.

10Pricing

Simple plans, no
surprises.

Starter $49/month Up to 500 products
Amplify $399/month Up to 50,000 products

Every plan includes recommendations, search, merchandising rules and analytics.

All three start with a 30-day free trial. We take card details to start it, charge nothing for 30 days, and email you three days before the trial ends. Cancel any time in one click.

11FAQ

Common
questions.

Will it slow down my site?

No. Recommendations are computed on our infrastructure, not in your database, so the work leaves your server. The plugin adds one lightweight script to your storefront.

How much order history do you need before recommendations are any good?

CartAmplify starts with catalogue relationships — attributes, categories, product content — so recommendations are sensible from day one. Co-purchase patterns strengthen them as your orders accumulate, which is usually visible within the first few weeks of normal trading.

Do I lose the upsells and cross-sells I've already set by hand?

No. Your existing product-level upsells and cross-sells stay where they are, and you decide per block whether CartAmplify replaces them, sits alongside them, or leaves them alone.

Can I control what gets recommended?

Yes. Pin, boost, bury or exclude products and categories. Manual rules always win over the automatic ranking.

Does it work with my theme?

Yes. CartAmplify takes over the recommendation sections your theme already renders, so it inherits your existing styling. If your theme is unusual, we'll handle the integration during your trial.

Does it work with Gutenberg and Elementor?

Yes. CartAmplify integrates with Gutenberg, Elementor and WPBakery, and ships shortcodes so you can place a recommendation row anywhere.

I run a multilingual store. Does that work?

Yes. WPML and Polylang catalogues are handled per language, and shoppers get recommendations in the language they’re browsing in.

Will it recommend out-of-stock products?

No. Stock status is part of the ranking, so you stop promoting what you can't ship.

Do I need a developer?

No. Installing the plugin and pasting an API key is the whole job. If you'd rather someone else did it, we'll do it inside your trial.

Do I need a card to start the trial?

Yes. We take card details when you start, but nothing is charged for 30 days. We'll email you three days before the trial ends, and you can cancel in one click any time before then — if you do, you're not charged at all.

What happens when the 30 days are up?

If you haven't cancelled, your plan starts at the tier you chose. No contract, no minimum term, cancel whenever.

Is my data safe?

Your catalogue and your shoppers' behaviour are used to power your store and nothing else — your data never trains models shared with other merchants. GDPR and CCPA compliant.
